The Positive Painting Project at the Millvale Library
From Noon to 4pm the Positive Painting Project welcomes everyone to paint backgrounds on canvases that will have our messages of hope that include “You Matter,” “It’s OK to not Be OK,” “Never Ever Give Up,” “Hold on to Hope,” “No Feeling Is Final” and “You Are Not Alone.” screenprinted on and then will then be donated to local schools and community spaces.
'Sculpture in the Garden' Presented by RoadKill Gallery
The festival have 10 'lawn ball' sculptures to display in between the beds of the Gardens of Millvale. All sculptures are weather resistant as they are meant to be displayed in your yard.
Immersive Shelter Sculpture Unveiling at The Gardens of Millvale
At 4:40pm 19 Butler Street, The Gardens of Millvale, the Tri-boro Ecodistrict, and Millvale Music Festival together will be unveiling a permanent installation sculpture, an immersive shade shelter bench intertwining welded steel and woven vines sourced from the Allegheny River and Girty's Woods. This design comes from artists Ben Grubb and Lindsey Peck Scheroum.
Fashion Show
4pm Outside of Pageboy Hair Salon, Vintage 416, Glittersty, Curated Flame, and B-sides will be featuring garments from each of their stores. Familiar and new Millvale faces will be seen modeling fabulous pieces for all to enjoy and potentially purchase.
