Air Heritage Inc. becomes PGH Museums Affiliate

We’re excited to announce that we have new PGH Museums affiliate, Air Heritage Inc! Air Heritage Inc is free to enter but do request donations. Find Air Heritage Inc in our directory.

Air Heritage Inc is a group of people dedicated to the preservation of old aircraft and our Aviation history through the countless restoration projects we have been a part of both past and present. The group originates back to 1983, but was not officially founded until 1990. Their first major project was the complete restoration of the Boeing B-17G, “Nine-0-Nine”, which crashed at the airport during a 1987 air show. Through the early 90’s they’ve acquired some very rare aircraft including a World War II era Douglas A-20H Havoc and Bell P-39 Airacobra. All restoration and preservation work is done by volunteers during scheduled sessions.
